Whether you’re moving between consult rooms, working around a busy hospital or visiting animals in the field, your practice software needs to move with you. That’s why we’ve continued to expand **VetlinkPRO Mobile**, with the latest release bringing more everyday practice workflows directly to phones and tablets. **VetlinkPRO Mobile version 1.0.5 is now approved for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store**, with new tools for stock management, billing, digital forms and clinical workflows, alongside a range of improvements based on feedback from our Early Access Program.  ## Manage stock wherever the work happens One of the biggest additions is **mobile stock management**. VetlinkPRO Mobile can now be used to complete stock takes, make stock adjustments and transfer stock between locations. Batch numbers and expiry dates are recorded as part of the process, helping maintain accurate records without needing to return to a desktop computer.  This is particularly useful for **farm and equine veterinarians**, where stock may be carried in vehicles and used while working in the field. Barcode scanning has also been improved. Teams can use the device camera or a compatible external scanner, with support for GS1-128 barcodes allowing relevant batch and expiry information to be captured during scanning.  ## Less manual work when billing The update also brings more of the familiar VetlinkPRO billing workflow into the mobile app. Macro and complex products can now be added and adjusted from a mobile bill, including changing quantities or selecting the individual items required. Batch and expiry information can also be selected directly from information already held in VetlinkPRO, improving traceability at the point products are dispensed.  For appointments with products or services linked to the diary reason, those items can now be **automatically added to the bill** when billing is started from the appointment.  The aim is simple: reduce repetitive entry and make it easier for teams to complete work accurately while they’re with the patient. ## Digital forms, directly from the appointment Paperwork is another area where small improvements can make a significant difference during a busy day. Digital forms can now be managed directly from an appointment in VetlinkPRO Mobile. Teams can attach the appropriate form and either have the client complete and sign it on the device or send it to them via **SMS or QR code**. Once completed, forms can be viewed as a PDF or resent when required. That means consent forms and other practice documentation can stay connected to the appointment rather than becoming another separate process for the team to manage. ## Better clinical information on the move VetlinkPRO Mobile is also becoming more useful during the clinical workflow. Clinical observations including **temperature, weight, heart rate and respiratory rate** can now be captured from the consult and written to the patient history alongside the consult note. VetlinkPRO\_Mobile\_1.0.5\_Release… Appointment information has also been improved. Statuses such as **Arrived, Confirmed and In Progress** are reflected in the mobile app, helping teams see what is happening across the practice without continually returning to the desktop.  ## Designed for the realities of veterinary work The latest release isn’t only about adding features. Screens have been reworked to display more consistently across phones and tablets, frequently used actions can be saved as favourites, and connection messages have been made clearer when the app cannot reach the server.  Importantly for teams working away from the clinic, VetlinkPRO Mobile remains **offline-first**. Work completed in the field can be held securely on the device and synchronised with VetlinkPRO when a connection becomes available, while VetlinkPRO on the desktop remains the primary system of record.  ## One connected VetlinkPRO experience VetlinkPRO Mobile is about more than putting practice software onto a smaller screen. Our goal is to give veterinary teams practical access to the information and workflows they need wherever their work takes them — while keeping everything connected to the wider VetlinkPRO practice management system. With stock management, digital forms, improved billing, clinical observations and better appointment workflows now available on mobile, this release is another step towards a more connected way of working.
